2026 Album Release - December Insomnia

After over a decade of songwriting together, Abby Ray & Cory Hillman, The Wasteland Poets are set to release their debut album, December Insomnia, a Gothic - Folk genre, recorded, mixed, & mastered through Lava Room Recording, Cleveland, OH. The record features 12 original songs. Each track channels gritty authenticity exploring themes like social media addiction, racial inequality, and corruption within our society.

On behalf of The Wasteland Poets, I would like to express our genuine thanks and appreciation for being chosen as a recipient of the Ohio Arts Council's FY 2026 Artists with Disabilities Access Program (ADAP). It is, of course, difficult to convey in words how exciting the recent news has been. This funding will be utilized to finalize costs associated with our upcoming album release titled, December Insomnia, recorded through Lava Room Recording, Cleveland, OH.
